Good hearing health may be critical for good cognitive health

At SmartStep Hearing we are always reading recent research and staying on top of new information and advancements. Recently, I came across an article that summarized recent research that suggests that improving prevention, identification, and treatment of hearing impairment may help to delay the onset of cognitive impairment and reduce dementia.  In other words, hearing aids could slow cognitive decline in later life.  It’s never too early to get your hearing tested.
