1. Book Your Free In-Home Test
Contact our office to schedule an at-home visit for yourself or a loved one.
2. Prepare for Your Visit
We’ll need a quiet space for listening, a small table, seats for yourself and your test provider and access to a power outlet.
3. Test Your Hearing
Every test starts by getting to know you. A review of your case history helps us understand your hearing needs and goals, along with what factors may have contributed to your hearing loss.
Our team will conduct a visual inspection of your ears, followed by a comprehensive hearing evaluation.

Your Hearing Test
During your hearing test, you will wear small, soft ear tips that deliver precise sounds for the hearing test. These insert earphones offer better accuracy and comfort than traditional headphones. Our providers will talk to you through a microphone and ask you to press a button or raise a hand whenever you hear a sound.
Along with the extent and type of hearing loss you have, this test measures:
- How your ears respond to sounds
- The quietest sounds you can hear at different pitches
- Your ability to discern speech
- Your most comfortable levels of sound
Visual Exam of Your Ears
Also known as an otoscopy, this exam focuses on your external ear canal and eardrum. Your provider will insert the tip of the otoscope in your ear to examine these structures. This process can help provide the most accurate diagnosis and prevent complications.
